WEEK THREE
This week we played the Pink Bambinos. Despite having weak numbers this week,
we were victorious!
After, the Pink Bambinos challenged us to a game of flip cup, and beat us.
...And James unwrapped a bunch of candy...
WEEK TWO
This week we played Sith Happens, and won!
Nick did a wonderful job sucking beer out of a straw...(video won't upload).
The revenge match didn't go as well, but this witches definitely kicked ass!
Next week we play Pink Bambino...game on!!!
WEEK ONE
This season we welcome back old DA members, transfer student, and first years.
Our first game was against Pitches Be Crazy, and we were victorious!
We may have lost a few house points for losing our revenge match, and only got 4th in this weeks social challenge.
We'll be back next week to face Sith Happens.

SEASON ONE
Week 8
Our favorite wizarding wonders had their final regular season game this last Sunday and it was a doozy for sure. Almost the entire army was slated to show up to the fields, but due to the exhaustion left from the regional tri-wizard tournament on Saturday, many of DA's stars were out for the count. This left our squad short handed but still ready to fight.
Sporting nothing but some fancy swimwear, DA came out on top with a win of 4-2. From what we hear, it was an inning of Ariella, on her broom, catching 3 straight balls that caused our team to rally and win it all.
Unfortunately, our lip syncing skills and flip cupping skills were not as on point as our ball catching and we were defeated by what ever enchantment adorned the halls of Happy Endings that night.
It was a long, hot day. We won, we lost, we showed our refs some love at the fields by keeping their mouth's wet.

Week 7
We lost... It was hot... We drank from a boot and got second and then we bought 3 refs from FOBO drinks... Not much more. :)
Week 6
Dumbledore's Army is out fighting off the bad guys right now, but we just wanted to let everyone know that we won our game, won our social challenge and HECK we even got three ref love pics this week!!!
Like a young warlock, this post will get better with time... Maybe just not today. ;)

Week 5 – Ball About That Base
Quote of the week: “You looked like one of those wacky-waving inflatable tube men every time that the ball came at you!”
Well, what a week it was for our courageous crew! This battle proved trying, but somehow Dumbledore’s finest still came out on top.
Things began early, off the field, when slander met slander on the Ministry’s facebook page. DA threw the first spell.
but BATB came back strong with some sort of face changing magic that caused an eruption of laughter from all that saw.
Sunday came and everyone tried to remain friends… I say tried… The taunting from BATB flowed just as freely as the champagne in people’s bottomless mimosas…
But still, DA held strong to Sirius’ words, “We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.” And thus, the taunting was taken in stride and with a smile.
When the game began it was clear, early on, that the butter beer had possibly flowed a little too freely on Saturday and at brunch…
Wizards were literally caught with their pants down.
We had some serious trouble at 2nd base that caused several runs to go in (seriously, the ball must be Peyton’s boggart form because refused to touch it)!
But luckily one of our leaders brought what must have been gillyweed juice to help us swim our way out of our butterbeer hangovers…
In our last attempt to overcome, while we were down 7-5, with the bases loaded, the tiny-but-mighty Karlina stepped up to the plate and kicked her heart out over all of the defense. That’s right, she may be the size of a house elf, but she has a boot that Hagrid would be jealous of!
This started a new trend for our team and we ended the game with a win of 13-7! This inning had us feeling like Nevil Longbottom in his last year at Hogwarts.
Our efforts to get other teams to play some running man quidditch were mostly turned down, but we still had fun on our own.
The bar was full of fun and we were lucky to buy more butterbeers for our officials!
Lesson for this week: Never give up!

Week 4 - Optikicks Prime
Quote of the Week - "Do we need my jugs next week?" "No I have great jugs at home."
Once again, Dumbledore's Army came out victorious! It probably had something to do with our pre-game shopping trip for brooms and wands!
We also had a very serious practice to get our "feet loose" ;)
We attempted to blend in with the muggle world this week, and I'm sure that our bright colors and tutus made us blend in well! That is what normal humans wear these days, correct? Maybe it isn't, but we sure looked good!
We are so glad that we came out with a win against this team. They were strange looking muggles...
But our houses bonded together with a 9-2 win!
Once we got to the bar, we thanked our muggle rule callers with a few butter beers... 3 to be exact...
And after beating Optikicks in a revenge challenge we decided to show off all of our hidden talents... Like dance, choreography, flour blowing and some amazeballs singing!
*Our only worry is for our Captain... He may have met new friends and then woken up with one of their parts still in his bed...
It was another great week to be a part of Dumbledore's Army!

Week 3 – Fear of Blacking Out

This week was another doozy for our wizarding students of kickball magic. We took on the fabulous FOBO who is WELL KNOWN for their knowledge of toxic potions and Obliviate charms (spells to make people lose their memories for all muggles reading this).
Luckily, the “no bunting” rule worked in our favor and our kicks were SPOT ON!
The “RPS” rule first took us down a notch with an early loss do to a scissor choice…
But thanks to a little help from Hermione’s Hour Glass necklace, our future selves gave us some heads-up choices in RPS and we came out victorious 3x.
Our new dress robes came in, so we loved showing them off for everyone before the game…And after the game
We even made sure to show how each house had a representative!
While some of our teams headed off to other endeavors, hiding in the muggle world…
We never forgot who we really are!

The team still held strong at the bar and, once again, defeated our opponents in the Revenge Challenge of flipping cups!
We also bought our refs some butterbeers

Week 2 - BoD
Quote of the week: "Their team name always makes me think of poop... Like, an actual ball of doodie." -EHam
Hogwarts' best faced a tough opponent in BoD this past Sunday, coming at us like death eaters in their all black! (You know that we love you, BoD, but the reference had to be made!)
Lucky for us, we spent our afternoon training with our brand new Nimbus 2000s and ended up with a victory in week 2!
A few highlights from the game:
The commissioner of the league kicked a home run!
Our fearless co-captain, Ariella NEVER put down her broom
And, just like usual, we looked AMAZING!
The final at the field: DA wins over BoD 7-6
Upon arrival to the bar, we were discouraged to see that only one of our fantastic refs was there and he was actually leaving... Sad to see, but he did take a quick beer as he said his goodbye.
The team banded together for some fantastic ball blowing as well. We may not have won that challenge, but we came in 2nd and certainly had fun doing it! (In true Hogwarts style, we should probably be awarded all of the points for just being amazing... "10 points to Gryffindor!")
As for the flip cup table, we played hard and played to win. It was not the easiest match of survivor flip cup ever... As a matter of a fact, it came down to 1 on 1 with BoD and ended with both players getting their cups on 1 flip. Several witnesses watched as we were victorious due to less wobble in our flip, so we took the win at the bar as well!
All in all, it was a great day for Dumbledore's Army!
