Welcome to another fine season of kickball my lovely Pinko's, I am so excited to finally have you back! A very warm welcome to our newcomers, we cannot wait to show you how this pink team does Celebrity!
Where to start.... What a great first game! So what if we didn't win, we didn't get shut out, and we had an amazing time! A HUGE thank you to John for his fun chants and running commentary. You have really found your niche in bringing pure joy to people John, and I thank you so much for that.
After the game we ventured over to Happy's (I refuse to call it Sycamore Tavern) and beat Dumbeldore's Army 2-0 at our flip cup revenge match. Well done guys!
We played King of the Hill for our Social Challenge, and took 3rd place thanks to Mallory and Isaac! Kick ass guys!!! Let's keep up this momentum all season long so we can keep that awesome Social trophy! Plus, it looks really sexy perched on my bookshelf.

We are nearing the end of our season together Pinko's. This makes me very sad, but also very happy that next season will be our best yet... not that anything could quite top this one.
So this week we played Pitches Be Crazy. What an absolutely fun team to play! We lost by god know's how many points, but we scored 1 run! Woohoo, way to go Jay! Then we went on to win our flip cup revenge match 2-0. We still don't know how we did in placement (I will update when scores are finally in) in the dizzy bat flip cup relay social challenge. I think we crushed it though. Don't forget next week is playoffs, and our first game is at 5pm.

We lost to BOD by like 9 or 10 to 1. WooHoo, we didn't get shut out! Then we lost in flip cup, our 8 against their 4. But none of that is important... What is important is how great we did in the lip sync battle. Only 3 teams participated, which is slightly disappointing since it's the most fun social challenge of the season. We danced and lip synced out faces off!!! I'm so proud of how well we all did and how hard we worked to create and learn the song and dance. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to secure us that 1st place win...but we did walk away with an awesome 2nd place win! Look at all those social points!!!! Way to go Bambino's!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! What a game guys! So what if we lost to BOD, I've never had so much fun paying a game ever in my life. Who knew dressing like a boy could be so fun! Huge shout out to our boys for wearing our sluttiest dresses to the game, you guys rock! And way to go Mallory for kicking ass and getting us second place in the candy corn social game. We should be looking pretty good in the social standings since we keep placing in the top 3 just about every week. Now we need to concentrate all our energy this week on winning the lip sync battle this Sunday!!! I have so much faith in us Bambino's!!!

Great win Bambino's! We played really well this week against Sith Happens, bringing home a 5-4 win. Way to go team! Unfortunately we lost our flip cup revenge match at the bar 1-2. It was sooo close too. What a seriously fun team to play against!!!! The Social challenge didn't go as well as we thought either. Not sure how much of a fan I am of ping pong tic tac toe. We'll do better next week for sure, I can feel it in my happy place!

What a game Bambino's. We're still working out the kinks, but I feel like we'll be a well oiled machine by next Sunday. The most important thing is that we are having fun!
So, we had a bit of an off week this week and lost to Dumbledore's Army. I honestly don't even know what the score was...sorry, I'm blaming it on being sick. But I do remember that we dominated 3-0 at our flipcup revenge match! Well done guys, I knew we could do it!!! That Social pitcher will be ours for a second season running, I can feel it in my happy place! That is until I totally failed us in our social challenge and could only open 4 pieces of candy with those damned sweaty oven mitts on. I do have to say I feel confident that we will definitely place if not get first in the NFL theme week challenge. We totally killed it y'all! Thank you everyone for participating. Welcome to the first game of the fall season Bambino's! It's going to be an amazing season filled with some amazing Sandlot references. What an awesome first game guys! We tied Sith Happens 2-2, but brought home a paper win on a technicality. We played really well together, which is great given how many new people we have on the team this season. I'm confident that we'll come out on top again. Let's keep working together guys!
Then we went to the bar and played some flip cup for our revenge match against Sith. We lost 2-1, but damn did we have fun! Then we played 21 for our Social Challenge. We came in second place, getting 20 out of 21 cups! Way to get those social points Bambino's! We are well on our way to keeping our Social champ status! Have a fantastic week guys!

Wow team, what an amazing season this has been! We started off the season with an 80% new team, many of which had never played in Waka before...and now we are celebrating a championship second place victory! I have absolutely loved watching us grow as a team and forge lifelong friendships, and damn, I gotta say we've turned y'all into some damn fine kickballers!!! And do I even need to mention our amazing FIRST PLACE SOCIAL WIN!?!?! We knocked it outta the park with our dance off battling, DasBoot drinking, balloon/cup blowing, speed beer ponging, and mad lip syncing skills!
I am so proud of this amazing team, and all of your awesome pink enthusiasm...I can't wait to see you all back next season!

Holy shit guys, we are killing it!!!
Game one was a narrow win against Optikicks Prime with a hard fought score of 4-3. Then we went on to beat the unbeatable team, Dumbledore's Army 3-0 in overtime! Like holy shit guys, we're in the final round of playoffs against Ball of Duty this coming Sunday! How exciting a season it has been to be the underdog coming from behind to not only swoop a Social win, but now to secure a second place win, if not going for the gold and taking the whole salami and winning everything. How rad would that be? I'm just so proud we have made it this far. A huge shout out to all you awesome Celebrity teams, we thank you for all the support you've shown us this season and had so much fun playing with all of you. I seriously can't wait until next season!

Holy freaking hell guys!!!! What an amazing Sunday... We tied Kickers of the Year 8-8 in a pretty epic back and forth game. Always super fun playing those guys! Then won our revenge flip cup game 2-0... great flipping guys. Then we lip synced and danced our faces off in true Limp Bizkit style and took 3rd place in the challenge, and tied for 2nd in theme...basically securing a Social win for us. Way to kick some serious ass guys, I am so proud of you! Have a great 4th of July guys, we'll see you back for the playoffs on July 10th.

Dudes, we freaking beat Dumbledore's Army 7-6! They were undefeated until they met the Mean Ballers! We had a purely MAGICAL time playing them! Well done, I am so proud of how hard we played in such intense heat. Then we went to the bar and won our flipcup revenge bar game 2-1. Then we pulled another win out of our butts and beat Dumbledore's Army by a few tenths of a second in the league wide bar challenge. Das Boot didn't stand a chance when John, Jimmy, and Angie were in the house! Boy were we thirsty! WE WANT ALL THE SOCIAL POINTS!!!!! Amazing day guys, thank you for being a part of it. And Happy NOT Father's Day to you sexy Ballers, you made it another year without getting that awkward phone call, congratulations!!!

So we lost on the field 0-4 to Balls Deeper, then again at the bar...but hot damn did we have a fantastic time doing it! Love playing that team! Mallory gets the golden kickball award for making some seriously amazing catches...and sliding into second base resulting in an awesomely bloody knee. Way to take one for the team Mal!

For those who made it out to the pool party, what a blast we had with BATB! We are sooo doing that again, especially as it heats up. Thanks for having us BATB, you are awesome hosts!
First things first, the game. Well all good things must come to an end, and thus our winning streak has ended after 3 amazing wins to Ball About That Base who beat us 9-4. It was a really great game though, with some amazing plays. Then we redeemed ourselves at the bar winning 2-0 in flip cup.
That dance off though!!!.... Guys, we freaking killed it, and it was all thanks to John our amazingly talented, and very single, choreographer! We took FIRST PLACE in theme, and SECOND PLACE in the dance off! Look at all them points, woohoo!

Game one was a narrow win against Optikicks Prime with a hard fought score of 4-3. Then we went on to beat the unbeatable team, Dumbledore's Army 3-0 in overtime! Like holy shit guys, we're in the final round of playoffs against Ball of Duty this coming Sunday! How exciting a season it has been to be the underdog coming from behind to not only swoop a Social win, but now to secure a second place win, if not going for the gold and taking the whole salami and winning everything. How rad would that be? I'm just so proud we have made it this far. A huge shout out to all you awesome Celebrity teams, we thank you for all the support you've shown us this season and had so much fun playing with all of you. I seriously can't wait until next season!

Holy freaking hell guys!!!! What an amazing Sunday... We tied Kickers of the Year 8-8 in a pretty epic back and forth game. Always super fun playing those guys! Then won our revenge flip cup game 2-0... great flipping guys. Then we lip synced and danced our faces off in true Limp Bizkit style and took 3rd place in the challenge, and tied for 2nd in theme...basically securing a Social win for us. Way to kick some serious ass guys, I am so proud of you! Have a great 4th of July guys, we'll see you back for the playoffs on July 10th.

Dudes, we freaking beat Dumbledore's Army 7-6! They were undefeated until they met the Mean Ballers! We had a purely MAGICAL time playing them! Well done, I am so proud of how hard we played in such intense heat. Then we went to the bar and won our flipcup revenge bar game 2-1. Then we pulled another win out of our butts and beat Dumbledore's Army by a few tenths of a second in the league wide bar challenge. Das Boot didn't stand a chance when John, Jimmy, and Angie were in the house! Boy were we thirsty! WE WANT ALL THE SOCIAL POINTS!!!!! Amazing day guys, thank you for being a part of it. So we lost on the field 0-4 to Balls Deeper, then again at the bar...but hot damn did we have a fantastic time doing it! Love playing that team! Mallory gets the golden kickball award for making some seriously amazing catches...and sliding into second base resulting in an awesomely bloody knee. Way to take one for the team Mal!
This weeks bar challenge was 4 player timed 21.

For those who made it out to the pool party, what a blast we had with BATB! We are sooo doing that again, especially as it heats up. Thanks for having us BATB, you are awesome hosts!
First things first, the game. Well all good things must come to an end, and thus our winning streak has ended after 3 amazing wins to Ball About That Base who beat us 9-4. It was a really great game though, with some amazing plays. Then we redeemed ourselves at the bar winning 2-0 in flip cup.
That dance off though!!!.... Guys, we freaking killed it, and it was all thanks to John our amazingly talented, and very single, choreographer! We took FIRST PLACE in theme, and SECOND PLACE in the dance off! Look at all them points, woohoo!

Spring Season Opener!
What a way to start a brand new season of kickball! Such a great win team, 6-4 against Kickers of the Year. Let's keep up this momentum for the entire season. We kicked so much ass at the bar too! Sure we lost our bar game and only made it to the final 5 in the League Wide Bar Challenge. Last night was so fun guys...we flipped, we drank...heavily, we danced our faces off, we did all the things! This is the start of a beautiful friendship...I can feel it!

I can't believe the season is over already... but the next one is just around the corner. Then, we were led in some patriotic activities by the awesome Robby Cole. I mean look at that suit, it's glorious right?
We played one hell of a game last night Ballers! So what if we lost by one run, we played like champions! Then, at the bar we dominated at flip cup once again! Woohoo!!!
Also, last night was a theme night..."Murica"! I hope with all the effort we put into it we will win.

What a game! We may have lost 12-0 to the Bastards, but we had a great and exhausting time doing it! They had a full team, and we only had 7... that's right 7 players. Some of us even had to play 2 positions...hehehe! The upside was that we all got to kick so many times that we were tired of kicking that damn ball by the time we started the last inning. First world kickball problems right?
The golden frosting on the kickball cupcake is we won all three games of flip cup at the bar and got all 6 magical points this week! Let me tell you how much that is going to help our overall scores... it's going to help a lot, like 6 points a lot.
Also, a huge happy Fathers Day to our two resident dads, Scott and Jeff! Thank you for making it out when we know your wives wanted you to stay home with your family. True Ballers and gentlemen!

What an amazing 6-3 win against Balls in the Family! What a fantastic turn out! That last inning was so intense! And to top it off we also dominated at the bar! Y'll are seriously awesome! Let's keep this momentum and kick some butt this coming weekend.

Welcome back to another awesome season of kickball Ballers!
We played such an amazing game against the Bastards (who are a really tough team), and held them at only 3 runs. This is such an accomplishment, especially since we only had 9 players, half of which were newbies!!! I am seeing amazing things in our future ballers, amazing things.
This season the Real Ballers will be THE force to be reckoned with!
Next weekend we take on Balls in the Family. I hope they're ready for us!
Scott's butt game is totally on point this season too!

When Real Ballers took the field with only nine players, most teams would have just given up, but not this team. They fought and clawed and kept the game reasonable until the final inning.
Two home runs were only topped by Robby's Rock, Paper, Scissors home run. Once the game moved to the bar, RBWP DOMINATED. Three players doubled up and beat six Bastards of 2-0! Never count this team out!

After another hard fought effort, RBWP fell short once again on a biting November evening -- though not through lack of effort. In the final inning, we fought valiantly and put up a few hard-earned runs against the toughest team in WAKA, preventing a shutout.
But yet again, RBWP excelled at the bar, winning our team games and once again showing that although we may not rule the fields, we certainly own the tables.

FALL 2014 - Week 3
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step..."
Victory is finally ours! RBWP finally put one in the win column after a hard-fought 4-1 victory on the grass field against the undefeated Untouchaballs this past Sunday. It was easily our finest-played match of the season and everyone from top to bottom contributed to the win!
Just as impressive was the turnout at Happy Ending afterward where we would demolish our pajama-clad foes in flipcup and play beer pong well into the night.

FALL 2014 - Week 2
80's Night!
Welp, despite our best efforts, RBWP dropped to 0-2 on the season. We were outhit, outpitched, and outplayed in pretty much every facet of the game. The good news is, we've still got a ton of games left and have plenty of time to reach our top form. Chins up troops!
Though I was not present at the festivities following the game, my sources tell me there was a strong turnout and many games of survivor flipcup and honeycomb were enjoyed.

Like a phoenix from the motherfucking ashes.
After a spirited turnout at RBWP's first kickball game of the fall season, we took the field ready to show the WAKA world that we meant business. That we just won't be defeated. The time had come for a new champion to assume their righteous place atop the league and in the annals of kickball history. THIS WAS OUR YEAR!
Well, as it turns out, Orange put a mighty drubbing on our humble squad. Regardless of the final score...we all had a killer time and, had a few calls gone our way, likely would have been right back in the game. Where RBWP DID shine, however, were the festivities after the game...
Flip Cup DOMINATION:
Pitchers were consumed, hearty guffaws were loosed, but most importantly new friendships were forged. If this first week was any indication of how awesome the people on this team are -- this will be a hell of a season. THINK PINK.

Going into the 2014 season of Celebrity, RBWP made some organizational adjustments, mainly richening the color of our pink jerseys and the adoption of a new logo. RBWP is proud to introduce:

WEEK 5?
This team in pink should be re-dubbed 'The Barroom Ballers" as they swept "99 Problems" in two straight flip cup games, and continued to challenge each other and otherwise drink belligerently well after the defeated Problems stumbled out of the bar. The Ballers had a rough night on the diamond though, having many scoring chances on base, but unable to capitalize on them. Aggressive baserunning gave "99 Problems" one more problem, as several missed throws gave the Ballers a couple extra bases. Kevin A. and Diana M. were able to cross the plate for the Ballers. A win at the bar and a loss on the grass leaves the Ballers right in the middle of the pack, and looking for that breakout performance to rocket them to the top of the rankings.
WEEK 3
VIA ESPN (3/17/2013;10:29am PT) :
The Ballers took down 'Kid Tested Mother Approved' in the 2013 St. Patrick Showdown last night. The lady Ballers pitched perfection, forcing KTMA to put the ball straight into the waiting hands of the Baller fielders. A flurry of kicks and smart baserunning through the damp grass allowed the Ballers to rack up three runs in five innings, only allowing one.
The Ballers had started their post-game intake far before the game started, and their cup-flipping precision was hindered, allowing KTMA to sweep the bar games.

We apologize for the delay in reporting the Ballers week two game against GA Bulldogs. The WAKA beat writer got involved in the post-kickball bar games and was unable to remember the nights events.
WEEK 1

A nail biting finish gave the Real Ballers Wear Pink the 11-10 victory on the diamond last night over 'I'm Not a Playa, I Just Kick a Lot!'.
With two outs in the bottom of the fifth, the Ballers center fielder made a brilliant heads up play, tagging the Playa at second moments before the tying run crossed the plate. This was a flashy finish to end a strong game for the Ballers.
First base sprints were a key to the Ballers victory, getting runners on base for the heavy kickers to bring around. The backwards base running rule threw some Ballers for a loop, but strong legs and smart base running allowed the Ballers to rack up 11 runs over five innings.
The bar was not as friendly to the Ballers, as the Playas lined up and fired straight in a fast and frenzied game of civil war.
The Ballers return on the 10th against GA Bulldogs.
PRESEASON

The Real Ballers Wear Pink have had a busy offseason with several roster moves, the addition of a legal staff, and an unconventional training camp. The addition of some high impact kickers and power fielders will make it difficult for opponents to land a ball in play, and we see these players quickly turn to the bar and drink opponents down to size. The ballers have a history of being strong drinkers, and the new team assets could just bump this team to the top of the field standings as well.
The Ballers look to make an early push, and their highly controversial and training camp has the sports world talking.
"It's not the first time I've done sprints straight into shots, but I didn't expect to see this again after college," an RBWP fielder declared.
"Coach runs an intense practice and really pushes us to our limits both physically and mentally, but I don't think he realized that our training facility was in the middle of a public park," the RBWP catcher noted, "We've been getting some weird looks from mothers. And even bums."
Training elements were described as "cringe-worthy" and "binge-worthy" with athletes sometimes playing several high-energy drinking relays before jumping straight into base-running exercises. Players running in every direction, and usually not in a straight line.
Only one lawsuit had been filed to date, by the mother of a child who had been hit with a flying Jack Daniels bottle, the product of a 'joke' that went too far. Having passed the bar and already been to the bar, the RBWP legal team's drunken counter led to a settlement out of court, in fact a bet, that the child couldn't finish the bottle and lap the bases. The little boy was able to finish the whiskey, but tumbled over third base, quickly crying for his mother and giving RBWP the legal advantage.
"It's a good thing our legal team is here. That could have been a bad situation."
"From the outside our training camp looks very uncoordinated, but until we get into a game-time situation we won't really know," the RBWP coach noted. "I'm feeling good about this team, we've got some really determined players. I'm looking forward to this upcoming season."
